If I have essence of the wild and another creature out along with Feed the Pack, sacrifice the creature for Feed the Pack and get Wolf tokens who instantly become copies of Essence of the Wild, will those creatures still be considered tokens? I ask because I wonder if it's possible to just keep sacing them constantly for six 6/6 creatures every turn.

Yes, they are still tokens. It's impossible for a token to become a "card," which is the only other permanent type I know of. So in short, you cannot sac the tokens from Feed the Pack to itself, regardless of what they become copies of.
That's correct, a permanent is always either a card or a token, and which one it is cannot be changed. A card as defined by the game can only be an actual Magic card that started out in a player's library, or was brought into the game by an effect such as Living Wish. Anything else that's on the battlefield is necessarily a token, and being a token is a fact that cannot be changed, ever. Being a card or token is not part of an object's copiable characteristics.
I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
