Pretty sure this is the right place to do this, I created this account just to ask this question
If I put a hideaway land into play from my library, such as from Primeval Titan, how do I look at the top four cards? do I get to see them in the order that they are in from the titan, play the land, choose from the 4 I already saw, and then shuffle? or do I have to shuffle after I put the land into play, then look at the top 4 cards and make my choice? or is it something completely different?
I guess what I'm asking is, can I use what I am able to look at from my search with primeval titan to affect my decision in choosing a hideaway land?
Its late and that grammar looks awful, I'm sorry about that
The Hideaway ability doesn't resolve until after the search effect has completely finished resolving. To complete the search effect, you must shuffle.
So shuffle, then look at the top 4.

Long Answer, No- Triggered abilities do not go on the stack until whatever is currently resolving finishes. In this case, you search with Primeval Titan, grab some lands (one of them happens to be a windbrisk heights) and another random land. Windbrisk Heights triggers but does not go on the stack yet. Primeval Titans ability continues to resolve until your library is shuffled. Once your library is shuffled AFTER fetching out the lands with the Titan, THEN you get to do the hideaway. So, no, you dont get to look at the top 4 while you are fetching your lands with Titans ability.
You'll always finish resolving an ability before a new ability is put on to the stack.
In this case you'll finish resolving the Titan's ability by choosing two lands, putting them onto the battlefield (this is where the hideaway lands will trigger, but won't be put onto the stack yet), and then shuffling the library. Then the trigger(s) will be put onto the stack, and assuming both players pass priority, you'll then resolve the hideaway trigger.
