In a multiplayer game, opponent 1 uses Control Magic on opponent 2. Opponent 2 uses Deflection on the control magic, targeting one of my creatures. (so the control magic targets my creature rather than Opponent 2's).
Question 1) Can Opponent 2 effectively use deflection on an enchantment - aura?
Question 2) Will the deflection user gain control of the creature? or will the original caster of control magic get it?
1. Yes, Aura spells(auras on the stack) target and are legal targets for deflection.
2. No, the controller of the Control Magic does not change just the target. The control of the creature will not change since the controller of the creature is already the same as the controller of the Control Magic.
