The only things that being indestructible stops are spells and abilities that use the word "destroy" and normal marked damage. Absolutely everything else that could conceivably move the creature elsewhere works exactly the same as it would work on a normal creature.
This includes, but is not limited to, things such as sacrificing, putting it into a library, dying to 0 toughness, and dying to the legend rule.

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

I think reducing damage doesn't count, if you read any Darksteel creatures like Darksteel Gargoyle if states that lethal damage does not destroy the cards.

The exact reason that reducing a creature's toughnes to 0 (whether or not you reduce its power to 0 doesn't matter) removes indestructable creatures it the fact that the state based action that applies to this situation doesn't use the word "destroy":
704.5f If a creature has toughness 0 or less, it's put into its owner's graveyard. Regeneration can't replace this event.
Compare that to the state based action for lethal damage:
704.5g If a creature has toughness greater than 0, and the total damage marked on it is greater than or equal to its toughness, that creature has been dealt lethal damage and is destroyed. Regeneration can replace this event.
Because having 0 toughness doesn't destroy the creature in question but rather puts it into its owner's graveyard, whether or not the permanent is indestructible won't matter.
Can infect kill an indestructible? I'm thinking not because infect is a form of damage, but im not sure...
Damage that is dealt to an indestructible creature is still dealt; if it is typical damage it is just ignored. Infect damage is in the form of -1/-1 counters, however; so if that makes the creature's toughness 0, then that creature will be put into the graveyard for having 0 toughness (not because it was dealt lethal damage)
