Is my understanding of the following situations correct?
1) Let's say my opponent controls a Vendilion Clique. I play my own. Immediately upon coming into play, before players get priority and the comes into play trigger goes on the stack, state-based actions are checked and both Cliques are put into their respective graveyards. After this is done, my Clique's comes-into-play trigger goes on the stack and players receive priority, right?
2) Rule 706.2 says that:
"The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by "as . . . enters the battlefield" and "as . . . is turned face up" abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object to be face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied."
Does this mean that if I cast Clone, and choose to copy my opponent's Meddling Mage upon it coming into play, his card choice is copied into my new Meddling Mage, and I don't get to choose a new card name for my Meddling Mage?
Thanks!

2) No. Since it comes into play as a copy of Meddling, it gains the same ability that the Mage has. You are allowed to choose your own card to blacklist.

Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
2) No. Mage's "as... enters the battlefield" ability doesn't set characteristics. Here's the rule you're looking for:
706.5. An object that enters the battlefield "as a copy" or "that's a copy" of another object becomes a copy as it enters the battlefield. It doesn't enter the battlefield, and then become a copy of that permanent. If the text that's being copied includes any abilities that replace the enters-the-battlefield event (such as "enters the battlefield with" or "as [this] enters the battlefield" abilities), those abilities will take effect. Also, any enters-the-battlefield triggered abilities of the copy will have a chance to trigger.
706.6. When copying a permanent, any choices that have been made for that permanent aren't copied. Instead, if an object enters the battlefield as a copy of another permanent, the object's controller will get to make any "as [this] enters the battlefield" choices for it.
Example: A Clone enters the battlefield as a copy of Chameleon Spirit. Chameleon Spirit reads, in part, "As Chameleon Spirit enters the battlefield, choose a color." The Clone won't copy the color choice of the Spirit; rather, the controller of the Clone will get to make a new choice.
Ok, in that case, if the Meddling Mage is copied by something like Mirrorweave, every other creature that becomes a copy of the Mage gains its blacklisted card, right?

Each other creature gains that ability, yes, but no cards are chosen because the creatures aren't actually coming into play. They're already in play, and they're having their characteristics changed.
