ok so this came up at school today and i was wondering if it would work like this
player 1: i play shock
player 2 : i play Wild Ricochet targeting the shock and dealing 4 to you
player 1 : im going to play Wild Ricochet tareting your Wild Ricochet, choseing both copys to copy it, im going to do this 50 more times then shock you 100 times
other then a possable math mistake would this work? or when you go to Wild Ricochet a Wild Ricochet do you copy what the 1st one is copying?

Player 2 is getting ahead of himself. Wild Ricochet doesn't damage anything. No spells at all have resolved yet.

What 'both copies'? Wild Ricochet copies once.
I couldn't say this player had succeeded since I don't know what he tried to do (other than that his goal was to get a bunch of Shocks).
No "1st one" is "copying" anything. There's just a bunch of spells on the stack, targeting things. In the previous case, there are three spells represented by cards at first.
When you Wild Ricochet a Wild Ricochet (: Ricochet #1) - which is to say you resolve a Wild Ricochet on a Wild Ricochet - you copy Wild Ricochet #1 (creating *a* copy). That copy may target something other than Wild Ricochet #1's target (since "you may choose new targets for the copy").
Is that an answer for you this part?
