I have a 1/1 that blocks a creature that has flanking. What happens?
Since flanking gives -1/-1 doesnt the 1/1 become a 0/0 and die due 2 a state based effect? If so, then wouldnt the creature with flanking hit the player directly?

The 1/1 is put into its owner's graveyard during the Declare Blockers step (immediately after the Flanking ability resolves), then the attacking creature assigns no combat damage.

Yes.

No. Once blocked, the attacking creature will remain blocked even if the blocking creature leaves play.
