The reason why I believe this move may be legal is because the dual lands themselves count as 2 different types of basic lands.
Also when you use Kodama's Reach can you only use it to fetch for just one dual land or can you get 2 with it?
A friend of mine told me that you can use Farseek to fetch for dual lands, but I didn't know for sure If it were the same for Kodama's Reach. You can also use Wood Elves to fetch for a dual land as well, am I right?

You cannot get dual lands with Kodama's Reach. You can only get basic lands, not cards that have basic land types.
Farseek says “plains, mountain, island or swamp.” It says nothing about basic lands. Wood elves says look for a forest. These cards are referring to the "subtype" of the land (like "rebel" or "elf" for creatures)
Basically if the card is NAMED forest, plains, mountain, island or swamp it is a basic land.
Cards that have the subtype forest, plains, mountain, island or swamp are not necessary basic lands, they just have a basic land type. So it does work for Coalition Victory, but not Gaea's Touch
Just trying to illuminate what Soron said a bit: A "basic land" is a land which has the supertype "basic." As of now, that means cards named Swamp, Island, Plains, Mountain, Forest, or their snow counterparts.
The confusing thing is that basic land types - such as Swamp, Island, etc. - can appear not only on basic lands but also on nonbasic lands, such as the Ravnica duals like Steam Vents. Although Steam Vents has two basic land types (Mountain and Island), it does not have the supertype Basic, and so is nonbasic - not a basic land.
A friend of mine told me that you can use Farseek to fetch for dual lands, but I didn't know for sure If it were the same for Kodama's Reach. You can also use Wood Elves to fetch for a dual land as well, am I right?
If something tells you to search for a basic land, then you can only find cards named Forest, Island, Mountain, Plains, or Swamp (or their snow-covered counterparts). Those are the only lands in the game with the supertype of "basic." Examples: Kodama's Reach, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Rampant Growth.
If something tells you to search for a card with one or more basic land types, then you may find any appropriate original or RAV block dual land. Examples: Wood Elves, Farseek, Land Grant.
Say I play Kodama's Reach to search for 2 dual lands like Breeding Pool and Steam Vents. I put Breeding Pool into play tapped without having to pay the 2 life for the dual land's ability when coming into play and put Steam Vents in my hand.
