what happens if i play cytochape to make an opponent´s creature a copy of a graft creature in play?? Does the target creature die due to being a 0/0 or does the counters copy as well?
:1mana::symg::symu: Instant Choose a nonlegendary creature in play. Target creature becomes a copy of the chosen creature until end of turn."While very effective to model the flesh, these artificial cytoplastes cover the subject in a stinky mucus all over."

Because of the way the layering rules work (see comp. rules 418.5a), you will end up with a 0/0 that's p/t is modified by anything that changes or modifies power and/or toughness. So, if you have a +1/+1 counter on it anyway or you have a Glorious Anthem in play or (I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong here) even if you have Giant Growthed the targeted creature, it will not die.
However, under most circumstanced, because "come into play" affects do not trigger off copying something, you will end up with a 0/0 that will be put into the graveyard next time SBEs check (like Pod said).
If you play Giant growth then Cytoshape, the power and toughness will become 0/0 regardless of when you do it. The effect of cytoshape just overwrites effects like this that increase toughness.
No, it doesn't. Copy effects are applied at the very lowest layer, in layer 1. Power-/toughness-changing effects are applied in the topmost layer, layer 6. Cytoshape's effect will always be applied before the Growth's.
Yes, this is a static ability that modifies p/t (applied on layer 6d) and is therefore applied after the copy affect. Because it is applied after, you will have a 0/0 with something pumping it, so it will have a toughess greater than 0, and it will survive accordingly.
