Hi, my friends and I had a bit of an argument lately during our EDH game.
Lets say that I have Anowon, the Ruin Thief and 9 Faerie Rogues on the table. 4 of the faeries attack 1 Player that has 25 life and 5 of them attack other Player that has 9 life.
The question is do both opponents mill cards from Anowon's ability so I could draw cards or only the one that survives does?
Using card tags is mandatory in the Magic Rulings forum. Please check your private messages to learn how to use them. I've added them for this post.

Assuming you own and control Anowon and Anowon has just dealt combat damage to the two players:
Only the players still in the game mill cards.
When a player is dealt enough combat damage to bring their life total to 0 or less, that player loses the game as a state-based action (and thus leaves the game) even before triggered abilities (such as Anowon's) can even go on the stack or get to resolve (C.R. 510.2, 510.3, 117.5, 704.5a, 104.5).
Note that the Commander variant is not synonymous with a multiplayer game; except for Commander drafts, nothing in the rules for the Commander variant under C.R. 903 precludes applying those rules to two-player games (C.R. 903.2, 903.13a).
