In our playgroup we had the situation, that Flickerwisp was cast and with ETB Nekusar, the Mindrazer was targeted. After that resolves, Ghostly Flicker was cast to flicker Flickerwisp. Does the new ETB-trigger of wisp "overload" the current exiled card, so that Nekusar does not return to the battflefield at the end of turn? Or is Nekusar just exiled and will return at the end of turn, no matter what happens to Flickerwisp?
Once Flickerwisp enters the battlefield, its triggered ability will trigger and get to resolve no matter what happens to Flickerwisp (C.R. 112.7a). Even if Flickerwisp leaves the battlefield after its triggered ability resolves (as in this case) or before it resolves, the card it refers to will get to return to the battlefield at the appropriate time.
To clarify a little further, it's the difference between Banisher Priest and Fiend Hunter. They're functionally very similar, except for one critical point: The Fiend Hunter has two separate triggers (two 'When') and Banisher Priest only has one. So the priest (and Flickerwisp) has everything, both exiling and returning, packed neatly into a single trigger. It resolves as a whole.
With Fiend Hunter, you can put the first trigger on the stack targeting a creature, then blink it in response. Fiend Hunter leaves, the second trigger goes on the stack, resolves, there's nothing to return. Then the first trigger resolves, exiling the target permanently.
Not quite correct. Banisher Priest is also a different beast from Flickerwisp. The wisp's trigger sets up a delayed trigger, that will trigger at the beginning of the next end step and return the permanent to the battlefield. And since the return is performed by a trigger, it can be Stifled to keep the card in exile.

TLDR: What you're trying to do works, but only if the card has two separate triggers, like Fiend Hunter, Journey to Nowhere and Oblivion Ring.
