I was working on a Traxos, Scourge of Kroog colorless commander deck and realized that I had no way to take extra turns, or combat steps for Helm of the Host to trigger multiple times. So I came up with a way to take infinite turns in colorless without using Mindslaver. I'm just making sure it works the way I think it does before building the deck.
Side note, without cost reducers, this full combo cycle would cost 13 mana, so it's not as expensive as it sounds.
I'm looking for feedback regarding rules to make sure this works. The part I'm not sure about are the token copies of Ugin's Nexus. If a copy of an object goes to the graveyard it triggers any and all death triggers before vanishing from the graveyard. If a copy of a card had a trigger that read "whenever [card name] dies, you may exile it from the graveyard. If you do..." then it would vanish before you are able to exile it. Ugin's Nexus however, has a replacement effect that basically reads that it goes directly into exile, and never touches the graveyard. I'm not sure if the copies would trigger before vanishing since they are exiled.

In my group there's this thing called taking a "Ryan turn."
Yeah, that's my fault...
For the purposes of things that care about whether a permanent "dies", Ugin's Nexus doesn't go to the graveyard from the battlefield when it goes to exile rather than a graveyard (review C.R. 700.4). Recall that under C.R. 614.6, an event that's replaced "never happens". However, besides this, nothing in your scenario cares about whether a permanent "dies".
Note also that Ugin's Nexus's first ability works only while Ugin's Nexus is on the battlefield and only at the moment a player would begin an extra turn (C.R. 113.6, 611.3b); effects that give players extra turns still work as normal.
Maybe I shouldn't have given an example for comparison, because you completely missed my question.
I'll ask it again in one sentence.
Do the token copies of Ugin's Nexus trigger whenever they are exiled?
No, because Ugin's Nexus has no triggered abilities (neither of its abilities has the word "whenever", "at", or "when") (C.R. 603.1). Rather, Ugin's Nexus's second ability is a static ability with a replacement effect that changes what happens if Ugin's Nexus would go to the graveyard from the battlefield (C.R. 604.1, 614.1a). If Ugin's Nexus would go to the graveyard from the battlefield while you controlled it, instead you exile Ugin's Nexus and take an extra turn after this one, whether Ugin's Nexus is a token or not; both things are part of the replacement effect.
First I've heard of this. I always thought that "if" also implies a trigger. Especially since the two effects are in "cause, effect" format.
You still haven't really answered my question though. Does this work?

Yes, you take an extra turn when Ugin's Nexus would go to the graveyard from the battlefield, even if Ugin's Nexus is a token. (This is so even though a token will cease to exist soon after it leaves the battlefield.) Ugin's Nexus is not like Academy Rector. In fact, your combo in comment 1 will work without problems, especially since you won't skip any extra turns you gain this way if an Ugin's Nexus is no longer on the battlefield.

If is always a replacement effect. Triggered abilities generally begin with 'when', 'whenever', or 'at'. They are both set up very similarly in terms of word structure though.
Replacement: 'if' x would happen instead 'y'.
Triggered: 'when' x happens do 'y'.
The only difference is that 'instead' means you are doing 'y', but not doing 'x'

Panharmonicon and Mirrorworks are in play as well as an infinite mana source. I have Ancestral Statue and Ugin's Nexus in my hand. I cast Ugin's Nexus, Mirrorworks triggers twice due to Panharmonicon, I pay for both to make two copies of Urgin's Nexus. Due to legend rule, I keep the original, and sacrifice the copies which are both exiled instead, giving me two extra turns after this one. The original would make me skip those turns, so I cast Ancestral Statue, which will trigger twice due to Panharmonicon. I then target both the Ancestral Statue, and the Ugin's Nexus to return them to my hand.
