Although this is mostly in regards to Arena, I am still questioning God-Eternal Kefnet 's "ability".
You may reveal the first card you draw each turn as you draw it.
On Arena, the card I draw gives me the option to "reveal" that card ONCE it has come to my hand.
However, the ruling states "AS you draw it", so in real games, as I go to draw the card, I have to reveal it between taking it from the library and putting it to my hand..right? How does it all work?
For Kefnet's second ability, if you choose to reveal the card in question, that card "remains revealed until [the ability that triggers when you reveal an instant or sorcery card this way] leaves the stack. If that ability isn't put onto the stack the next time a player would receive priority, the card ceases to be revealed" (C.R. 701.15a). When that ability resolves, if the card is still in your hand, you "copy that card and you may cast the copy" (C.R. 400.7).

They're not at all. From the Release Notes, so straight from the Rules Manager, "You look at the card as you draw it before choosing whether to reveal it."
Yes, that is what it says. However, the option to "decline" in Arena ONLY appears once the card has reached my hand, not AS I draw the card... So therefore, on Arena, the option does not occur AS I draw, but WHENCE I have completed drawing said card..

The rules work the same on Arena. The thing is, Arena doesn't care about putting it in your hand, because you literally can't manipulate or cheat Arena -- it 100% knows that that is the card you drew.
The reason we want you to do the "very definitely draw the card but not actually put it with the rest of your hand" for Kefnet (and Miracle before it) is that, if you do, there's no way your opponent can verify that the card you reveal is, in fact, the one you just drew.
You seem confused about when the card is in your hand. The moment the card has come off the top of your library it's in your hand because you have drawn it. In arena it moves to the place your hand is kept and mingles with your other cards. In real life you 'can' do the same thing and put it with the rest of your hand but for the ability to work it needs to remain distinct which is why typically you reveal it before placing it with the rest of the cards that make up your hand, however it is still 'in you hand'. So there is no I've drawn this but haven't put it in my hand yet.

Right. So Arena and irl rules differ. Cool. Cheers.
