I have Nighthowler on the battle field he is a 14/14 at the moment. I cast clone and target nighthowler.
. clone becomes a 14/14. Now if during my opponents turn 3 more creature cards end up in the graveyard.. Does nighthowler and clone go up to a 17/17 or just the nighthowler?
So the Clone in this situation just becomes a second Nighthowler. It has no connection or relation to the original.
1) Both are 17/17. Both have a static ability checking the same thing. At the moment the number of creature cards in graveyards changes their p/t changes.
2) It's 15/15. There's one more creature card in a graveyard than before.
3) No difference in principle. While one ability is characteristic-defining and the other is not, that does not change this interaction. However, the two abilities check two different quantities.
It's important to understand that clones do not target, simply choose who they want to copy. Once the clone is on the battlefield, it is indistinguishable from the original creature, aside from all the ways a clone says it's different (eg: sakashima the impostor) So the clone copies all parts of the (creature in question), including getting to choose a new player with Sewer nemesis (so the clone could target opponent A, while the original nemesis targets opponent B). After that, the clone is treated exactly as the new creature is treated, including getting buffs when more creatures enter the graveyard.

Situation #2
Same situation as above clone is targeting nighthowler who is a 14/14. Someone terminates my nighthowler
What does my clone become?
A 0/0?
Does is stay a 14/14?
Does it increase to a 15/15 because nighthowler hit the graveyard?
Situation #3
Except this time clone targets sewer nemesis.
Is anything different with how clone interacts with sewer nemesis than how it did with nighthowler
Thanks for the help.
