Alright so wanna go over 3 scenarios while having the card reverence in play.
1.So let's say Player A Has reverence in play and Player B has 3x 2/2 vampire tokens in play as well as Edgar Markov in play. He declares Edgar Markov and 3x of his 2/2 vampire tokens are attacking me.. Now when Edgar Markov attacks it says put a +1/+1 counter on vampires you control.. So now those 3x 2/2 vampire tokens are actually 3/3 vampire tokens.. Could they still attack Player A who has reverence out or does reverence check BEFORE attacking is declared?
2. Scenario two is this.
Let's say player A has reverence and Briar patch on the board.. Player B has a 3/3 zombie token on the battlefield. Can player B still attack Player A as Briar patch would lower the 3/3 zombie token down to a 2/3 and then in turn reverence would not allow it to attack. What is the ruling here.
3.last scenario. Let's say player A has reverence on the board and Player B has a 2/2 elf token on the battle field. Player B Plays Giant Growth on his 2/2 elf token making it a 5/5 and THEN declares it is attacking Player A.. Would that scenario work?? I assume so but if player B tried to attack first and then play giant growth AFTER declaring attackers I am assuming that would Not work as reverence wouldn't even allow the 2/2 elf token to attack. Correct?
Thanks for all the help you can be on these cards.
"Attack you" means "be declared as an attacker that's attacking you." Reverence affects creatures that have power 2 or less at the beginning of the declare attackers step. If a 2 or less power creature has its power increased later in combat there's no second opportunity for it to attack. If a 3 or greater power creature attacks and has its power decreased it's not removed from combat.

(1) The tokens can't attack for they have power 2. Doesn't matter that Edgar gives out tokens - they can't attack.
(2) The 3/3 zombie can attack fine. Losing power afterwards doesn't matter.
(3) If you pump the Elf before attacking, the Elf can attack. If you don't - the Elf can't attack.
