Hello comrades! I'd like to ask a question - if I've got 2 (or more) teferi +1 abilities in the stack at the end of the turn, do I get a priority after each ability (to use Azcanta, e.g.) or not? And I'd like to know WHY. My guess that I get the priority before the abilities resolves and after but I (and my opponent) don't get it after each ability. Thanks in advance (and sorry for my English)
You are assuming wrong, all players do get to act in between. The active player gets priority after any one object on the stack resolves, and he can either use it to cast a spell, activate an ability, take a special action, or pass. If he does not pass, he can then respond first to his action, and so forth until he passes. Then the opponent gets to do the same. Then you get to respond to his responses, etc. Only if all players have passed priority in succession without doing anything will the next, now top, object on the stack resolve, and that may very well be a newly added object. If there is no object on the stack and all players pass in succession, the game will move on to the next step/phase.
So you can respond before the first delayed Teferi trigger resolves, and then again after that one has resolved but before the next does, and you can act after the stack is clear as well.
Thanks! So it's a bug in MTG:A (where I had 5 teferi abilities in the stack and wanted use to Azcanta multiple times, but I had to untap my lands without "gaps".)
