Player B: gets control of sol ring tapped with treasure nabber
Does player A still get the mana from sol ring on that turn before it switches control or does player B get the mana on that same turn
Or neither?”
So that got answered that player A would still get the initial mana from the tap... would this still be true for something such as treasure tokens that you would have to tap and then sacrifice before you get the mana?
The controller of the Treasure token (e.g.) gets the mana as the controller of the mana ability but you don't gain control of the sacrificed artifact because it's not on the battlefield when the triggered ability resolves.
Yes, Treasure tokens have mana abilities. They are sacced as part of the activation cost, and thus already gone before the mana is gained. All that happens before the Nabber's trigger can even make it to the stack, so there's nothing for it to gain control of when it resolves.
The tap and sacrifice from a treasure is a cost. A cost is anything that precedes a colon, the : on the card. This cost doesn't go on the stack and can't be responded to (this is different from old Magic where you might read differently).
In short. Player A gets their mana but the treasure is already gone by the time Treasure Nabber could do anything about it.
