I control a Yixlid Jailer and my opponent has a Bridge from below in their graveyard. My opponent casts a walking ballista for X=1, removes a counter and kills my jailer. What the heck happens with the bridges? Zombies? Are they exiled? /HeadAsplode

And on that day, Garfield said unto the world "Go ye forth and durdle!"
When you remove the last counter from the Ballista as a cost to activate the ability, it becomes a 0/0 and will die right after the activation as state based actions are checked, long before the ability resolves. Since the Yailer is still alive at this point, the Bridge has no abilities, so cannot trigger to give you a zombie.
When the ability finally resolves, the Yailer is dealt damage and it dies after the ability has finishes, again as astate based action. Since Leaves-the-battlefield abilities trigger based on the game state right before the event, and the Bridge has no abilities at that time, the card cannot trigger to exile itself.
