for the lands to produce the extra mana, do they check for subtype or card name?
its confusing because the cards have the same words in both spots. so i'm not sure which part of the cards the mana ability is looking for on the battlefield to have tron turned on.
They check for subtypes as does nearly everything else in the game that does not say "cards named...". Lord of the Undead for example checks Subtypes.
Also, to be a bit pedantic, Urza's Power Plant does *not* use the same thing in the type line and card name. The card name is, as mentioned, "Urza's Power Plant". The type line however is "Urza's Power-Plant" (notice the hyphen). This is because each individual word on a type line is its own subtype which means the Urza lands actually have the type "Urza's" and the type "Mine", "Tower", or "Power-Plant". And, you will notice both Tower and Mine look for "Power-Plant".
urza's mine urza's tower
