If I have Mishra, Artificer Prodigy out on the battlefield and cast metallic mimic, will any of the creatures enter the battlefield with any +1/+1 counters?
When you cast the Mimic, Mishra's ability triggers and goes on the stack above the Mimic spell. The ability resolves first, you search for another Metallic Mimic card and put it on the battlefield, choosing a creature type (let's say Pirate) as you do. Then, the Mimic spell you cast resolves and enters the battlefield. You choose a creature type again. If you also choose Pirate, the second Mimic would enter the battlefield as a pirate, and so the effect of the Mimic already of the battlefield kicks in, and so the second Mimic (the one you cast) enters with a +1/+1 counter.

Assuming you control no creatures other than Mishra at the beginning of the scenario:
In this scenario, if you bring a card named Metallic Mimic onto the battlefield with Mishra, it won't enter the battlefield with any +1/+1 counters. Then, as the Metallic Mimic you cast resolves, if you choose the same creature type as the other Metallic Mimic, it will enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter on it, since it will be considered as having that type as it enters the battlefield (C.R. 608.3, 614.12).
If you name the same creature type with multiple Metallic Mimics, then creatures of that type will enter with a +1/+1 counter from each of them.
So if there are four Metallic Mimics out all naming the same type, in this case Pirate, then the next Pirate will enter the battlefield with four +1/+1 counters.
Thanks for the input guys! So basically, I can only put one +1/+1 counter on the metallic mimic that triggered, the other 3 don't get anything.
Note, that nothing mentioned in this thread so far is getting you all four Mimics from your deck. You only get the one you cast and the one (1) that Mishra tutors up because of that.

That brings me to another question, if I have all 4 metallic mimics out due to mishra, will my next pirate only get one +1/+1 "counter, or 4?
So if there are four Metallic Mimics out all naming the same type, in this case Pirate, then the next Pirate will enter the battlefield with four +1/+1 counters.
Hope that helps.
