Hi. If I cast Kitesail Freebooter, then opponent cast fatal push on the freeboter in response to the comes into play ability... can I still look at target opponent's hand?
Notes: Freebooter's name corrected for tags to work.
Once Kitesail Freebooter enters the battlefield, its enters-the-battlefield ability (no longer: comes-into-play ability [C.R. 403.5]) will trigger (C.R. 603.2). That ability will still get to resolve even if Kitesail Freebooter leaves the battlefield before it does so (whether by Fatal Push or otherwise) (C.R. 113.7a). However, if the targeted opponent is an illegal target as that ability would resolve, it doesn't resolve (C.R. 608.2b).
Note that with Kitesail Freebooter's ability, the opponent's hand is shown to all players, not just to a particular player (C.R. 701.16a).
EDIT (Apr. 27): Edited to conform to rule changes in Dominaria.
EDIT (Jan. 19, 2021): Edited, including because some rules were renumbered in the meantime.

The part of the ability that has the opponent reveal their hand still happens fine, it's separate and independent from the exile part (which doesn't happen; I surmise you knew that, but just to be clear for other readers). Since the Freebooter has already left the battlefield, the duration of its exile effect is already ended, so the effect doesn't even start, the exile doesn't happen at all.
610.3. Some one-shot effects cause an object to change zones "until" a specified event occurs. A second one-shot effect is created immediately after the specified event. This second one-shot effect returns the object to its previous zone.
610.3a. If the specified event has already occurred when the initial one-shot effect would cause the object to change zones, the object doesn't move.
I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.

611.2b. Some continuous effects generated by the resolution of a spell or ability have durations worded "for as long as . . . ." If the "for as long as" duration never starts, or it ends before the moment the effect would first be applied, the effect does nothing. It doesn't start and immediately stop again, and it doesn't last forever.
The concept is largely valid, but the rule that applies here is C.R. 610.3b, not C.R. 611.2b, since Kitesail Freebooter says "Exile ... until ...", and not, say, "... for as long as Kitesail Freebooter remains on the battlefield".
EDIT (Jul. 2, 2020): The relevant part of one rule was moved in the Core Set 2021 update.
