Hello all, I was woundering what the rule is for arcane adaptation. If you lay down two A.A. are you able to put two different types on all your creatures. For example the first A.A. I would do all creatures to Ally then a few turns later I play another A.A. and do Elf. Do all creatures then have Ally and Elf to them? Also, do the Ally or Elf get off the creatures if one of the A.A. gets exciled? Sorry for the questions, I am new and couldn't find it anywhere I looked.
If you mean this card, then yes, its ability accumulates. The effect is to add a subtype. Using two with different choices, you might add two subtypes.
As a static ability, the effect is something that is "simply true". It applies at all times to whatever it is meant to apply to, for precisely as long as the Arcane Adaptation is on the battlefield and has the ability. If one Adaptation is exiled, its ability immediately stops applying and its effect is no more.
