Just need a little clear-up since I am confused by the wording on Botanical Sanctum and other "tapped unless you control two or fewer other lands" cards. So let me get this straight--if I have two other lands in play, Botanical Sanctum comes into play tapped?
No. If you control 2 other lands, it will be untapped. So, if you play Sanctum with 0, 1, or 2 other lands already on the field, it will enter untapped. Otherwise, it will enter tapped.

Okay, so ideally I'd want to play it on the third turn for the most optimization?
Then I've got a follow up question--I was watching a match (picture attached) and saw that Kenta had played Botanical Sanctum on his first turn and played Attune with Aether. So that made me even more confused, I thought Botanical Sanctum would come into play tapped since he had no other lands in play?

This is skirting strategy advice, but to reiterate in another way: barring ramp spells, these lands will be untapped as your first, second, or third land drop. You get the same benefit whether it's your first turn or third turn.
"Enters the battlefield tapped unless you control less than 3 lands" isn't the same thing.
Let's say you have a basic Island and a basic Forest, then you play a Botanical Sanctum. As Botanical Sanctum would be your third land, by the way you would have it written, it would enter play tapped. However, as you have two or fewer other lands, Botanical Sanctum enters untapped.
Sometimes MTG's phraseology can seem unwieldy, but the fact is that over the years the wording has generally become more precise for good reasons.

They just couldn't put 7th edition into Modern because of the card borders? Seriously? Count me out.
"As ... enters the battlefield" abilities have to intercede before the event they describe takes place, since they replace it. As such, the conditional check of Botanical Sanctum was constrained, in any case of stylistic choice, to check "other" lands in play. That is to say, if Botanical Gardens didn't write "other", it would mean the same thing.
