Hi. A preemptive thank you to those who answer my questions.
Does mirage mirror manifest the top card if I copy my whisperwood elemental; because the elemental says, "at the beginning of your end step"? Or does it not because it turning back into mirror happens at the beginning of the end step?
Also, does mirage mirror get to keep counters that aren't +1+1; such as time counters (like on as foretold) and storage counters (like on rushwood grove?
Mirage Mirror reverts back to its normal self in the cleanup step, which comes after the end step. All during the end step it is still whatever it copies. So yes, you get to manifest a card with it if you copy a Whisperwood Elemental before the end step begins.
All counters that the Mirror aquires while copying something stay on it when it reverts back, even if they don't make sense on it. This is true for any object, actually. Counters can only be removed as a cost or effect, vanish when the object changes zones, or a rule may direct to remove them (the only one being that +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters on the same permanent annihilate each other one for one as a state based action).
