I tried looking on google but nothing came back ,might be that I have an hard time finding the proper words to find an answer.
In the mist of Madcap testing Ive come across an issue, at the moment I am on vacation and there is sadly no shop in town.
The situation would be something in the line of having negative life with Platinum Angel and using Restoration Angel to protect Platinum from removal (etc)
Would I insta lose^
Edit: Ive found an example with Momentary Blink and if logic goes the same way for ETB effect then Id still be protected when State Based effect are checked. Id still like confirmation and further information or peculiar case of exceptions.
You would not lose. Losing because of a negative life total occurs only as a state based action which is not checked during the resolution of an ability.
While genini is correct if you could do this, this is not a legal play. Restoration angel's ability says "target non-angel creature", and platinum angel is an angel.

To break it down into its components (and let's use Momentary Blink, as it's the same text without the non-Angel clause to confuse the issue):
1. Momentary Blink is on the stack, Platinum Angel is on the field, you're at negative life. State base effects are checked and there's nothing to do. Players have an opportunity to respond in priority order.
2. Begin resolving Momentary Blink. Do each instruction on the card in the order they're printed. Make note of any changes that could trigger things (leaves battlefield triggers, enter battlefield triggers).
3. Momentary Blink finishes resolving. Put all triggers on the stack, according to the rules of ordering.
4. Check state based effects. Platinum Angel is on the field, you're at negative life. You don't lose the game. Players once again have an opportunity to act in priority order.
