I have a question on the wither ability. As i understand it, it is the replacement of real damage. So if i had a Kulrath Knight and a Melira, Sylvok Outcast on my field, and my opponent played Inner Struggle on my Knight, it would resolve as zero damage because of Melira, correct?
Yes, the end result will be that three damage is dealt, but it's dealt in the form of -1/-1 counters, and since those can't be placed on your creatures because of Melira, that means there is no net effect.
Note that damage is still technically dealt - if the Kulrath Knight has Deathtouch, it will still be lethal damage and it will be destroyed, and if it has Lifelink, it will still cause you to gain life equal to the damage that should be dealt.
