With 4 other creatures on the battlefield. Wave has 5 counters.
I have wave and 4 other creatures. Felidar guardian etbs and targets the wave. In response I exile the 4 other creatures and then felidar guardian. I assume felidar guardian ability still happens then exile the Wave last. Then i think the wave comes back first with the creatures. I assume I can keep looping this as long as the guardian keeps entering and ordering the abilities to keep flickering?
Yes, this works. Anything exiled by Parallax Wave with Felidar Guardian's trigger on the stack will come back when Guardian's trigger causes Wave to trigger. If Guardian is among the exiled creatures, you can loop it.
Yes, you can do this. The order in which you exile the creatures doesn't matter, you could exile the Guardian first and it would still work. You also don't have to use up all the counters on PW, its last ability will trigger even if it still has counters when the Guardian blinks it, and it always returns with 5 counters. There will also only be one trigger on the stack at a time, either the Guardian's flicker trigger, or the Wave's return trigger. You can keep the loop going by responding to the Guardian's trigger with activating the Wave.
Your assumption on the Guardian's trigger still resolving is correct. Abilities on the stack exist independently of their source and will resolve even if the source is gone by that time.
