Hi
Just some question about exert Voltaic Brawler You said that you want to pay the energy or not when the triggered ability resolve right?
Is it the same with exert?
For example
my Glorybringer attack and target exert to spell queller, my opponent respond sacrifice his selfless spirit to make his creature indestructible, can i said that i don't exert it when the exert triggered resolve?
No. Exert is an option that happens as part of declaring attackers. The ability that triggers when you exert it goes on the stack after that point. You don't get to undo the option to exert the creature just because you don't like what will happen when the trigger resolves. Your Glorybringer is still exerted and won't untap during your next untap step.

No, the option to exert is made on declaration of attack. So if you are already at the targeting point then you have chosen to exert and your opponent can respond. There major difference between exert creatures and typical attack triggers like the Brawler is that exert is a choice then a trigger while the Brawler is a trigger with a choice. So you make the choice to exert then its ability triggers, while Brawler triggers on declaration of attack and the trigger asks you to make a choice.
No, those play out differently. Voltaic Brawler has a triggered ability, that triggers when the Brawler is declared as attacker. You choose to pay energy or not when that trigger resolves.
Glorybringer has a static ability that lets you exert it as it is declared as attacker. This creates a trigger, and when that trigger resolves, the targeted creature is dealt damage. In other words, in order to even get the trgger to fire and be placed on the stack in the first place, you must exert the dragon as you declare it as attacker.
