I don't know this this is a magic rulings question, but here we go:
I was reading an article on channel fireball (https://www.channelfireball.com/articles/ban-miracles/) where the article mentions a miracles player would stall the first game for 40 minutes and leave only a few minutes for game 2 so the miracles player can go 1-0.
1) If you go 1-0, does this count as a win or a draw?
2) If the miracles player is deliberately using such a strategy, wouldn't it be advantageous for the opponent to realize they are locked and would proceed to game 2?

1. Under M.T.R. 2.1, in a sanctioned tournament, the player who has won the most games by the end of the round wins the match.
2. In a sanctioned tournament, the answer depends on the specific facts and circumstances of the situation.
Note that in sanctioned tournaments:
"Players must take their turns in a timely fashion" and "[s]talling is not acceptable" (M.T.R. 5.5). Whether a player is engaging in slow play or stalling, however, depends on the specific facts and circumstances of the situation.
If a player notices slow play or stalling, that player is "responsible for" "calling attention to" that infraction (M.T.R. 1.10).
