Mindclaw Shaman comes into play under my control and I cast Staggershock from my opponent's hand. Does rebound trigger? Staggershock was cast from a hand but not my hand so my instinct is that the trigger doesn't trigger. If rebound does trigger, does it come back under the owner's control, like suspend?
Rebound will generally have no effect in this scenario, in that Staggershock will be put into your opponent's graveyard as it resolves, as normal (C.R. 608.2k). Rebound works only if the spell with it was cast from its controller's hand, not from any other hand (C.R. 702.87a) (the words "you" and "your" on the ability's expanded text refer only to that spell's controller, not necessarily to its owner [C.R. 109.5]).
702.87a Rebound appears on some instants and sorceries. It represents a static ability that functions while the spell is on the stack and may create a delayed triggered ability. “Rebound” means “If this spell was cast from your hand, instead of putting it into your graveyard as it resolves, exile it and, at the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost.”
Indeed the official meaning of rebound uses the condition of "your hand", and that means what it says. You casting the spell from the other fella's hand doesn't count. The spell resolves just as if it didn't have rebound.
