Hey everybody! So my brother and I were playing some Magic the other night and he was using a new deck he just picked up featuring the Support mechanic. Upon looking up the rulings, we became very confused about the ruling highlighted in the image attached. "You can't put more than one +1/+1 counter on any one target creature."
Does this mean, that if I have 2 creatures on the battlefield and I play a Saddleback Lagac to give my creatures each a +1/+1 counter and then later play a card like Joraga Auxiliary can I not stack on more +1/+1 counters to those same 2 creatures?
The ruling is worded badly. What it should say is that you can't put more than one +1/+1 counter on a creature per instance of support. All the ruling is trying to say is that your Saddleback Lagac can't put both of its counters on the same creature. Future instances of support can put counters on creatures that have already received them from other support abilities.
No. It's worded a bit poorly but it's referring to each individual support action. That ruling is just telling you Saddleback Lagac has to put the counters from its support ability on two different creatures; let's say a 1/1 soldier token and Joraga Auxiliary when it enters the battlefield but it can't put two +1/+1 counters on itself or the Auxiliary. If you activate Joraga Auxiliart later, you can put more counters on the other two creatures(the token and the Lagac), just no more than one counter per creature per activation.

One further clarification; creatures with Support cannot target themselves with one of the counters. The Support ability is specifically worded to say "other creatures".

I hope my question is clear, appreciate any help.
