I have a question regarding Aetherflux Reservoir. Can I use the card as basically a suicide bomb card? Can I pay the 50 life to kill another person I'm playing with even if I don't have 50 life? Can I just kill both of us at the same time?

"Silence rules Bala Ged, broken only by the skittering of Eldrazi."
Rosy Dumplings is right. Life, like any other amount that is a price, must be available to be used for payment. It works the same way as mana. One can't just throw down a Progenitus first turn and say "oh, I'll pay the mana cost later or go into mana debt".
Secondly: You would need to have at LEAST 51 life in order to activate this AND have it's ability go off. Your payment of life occurs BEFORE the ability does, so if you were at EXACTLY 50 life and paid 50 life: your life would go to zero and game state checks would kill you before the Reservoir's ability successfully occurs.

You can't pay life you don't have. If you have less than 50 life, you can't pay the activation cost at all.
If you are at exactly 50 life, you can pay the cost as you activate the ability and put it on the stack, but then you'll lose and leave the game before the ability resolves. You leaving the game means your spells and abilities on the stack ceases to exist, so the damage is never dealt.
