I have a Goblin Dark-Dwellers already on the battlefield and nothing in my graveyard. I cast Twinflame, targeting the Goblin Dark Dwellers. It resolves. Can the token copy of Goblin Dark Dwellers; use its ETB effect to target the same Twinflame card that was used to target the original Goblin Dark Dwellers
Yes. While the token enters the battlefield during the resolution of Twinflame, the ETB trigger has to wait until a player would get priority to be put on the stack. So Twinflame resolves fully first, which includes the last step of being put into the graveyard. So the card is in the yard when the trigger goes on the stack and can thus be targeted by it.
Yes. Twinflame makes a copy of Goblin Dark-Dwellers and then, as the final part of resolving, is removed from the stack and placed in the graveyard. The token's trigger now goes on the stack, and Twinflame is a valid target in the graveyard.
Triggered abilities such as Goblin Dark-Dwellers's can only go to the stack the next time a player would receive priority, in this case that happens only after Twinflame has finished resolved.
So Twinflame starts resolving, creating the token copy of GDD. The token GDD's ETB ability triggers, but can't go to the stack yet. Twinflame finishes resolving and goes to the stack. Before any player would receive priority, you put GDD's ability on the stack and choose a target for it. At this point Twinflame is on the graveyard and can be chosen.
This doesn't work, gdd exiles the card when it resolves, so it won't be back in the graveyard.
The scenario is about targeting the original GDD with a TF from the hand, to then get to cast the TF again from the yard due to the copy's trigger, possibly creating another token copy. No one's saying anything about getting to cast the TF again after it was cast from the yard.
