No. Sorceries can be cast only during your turn's main phase, when the stack is empty, and you have priority. This is the default timing in the rules for sorceries, but something else can give you permission to cast a spell at a different time (like if a resolving spell or ability instructs you to cast the spell during its resolution, or something gives it flash, etc.). It is not forbidden to cast a sorcery other than with sorcery timing, you just aren't usually permitted to do so.
