"Whenever Stromkirk Occultist deals combat damage to a player, exile the top card of your library. Until end of turn, you may play that card."
My question is...
If it's a creature and I have mana to play it, does the creature stay on the battlefield after my turn finishes or is it exiled at the end of the turn?
I have the same question for lands- If it's a land, does it stay on the battlefield after my turn, or is it exiled after the turn finishes?
Casting a spell from exile is the same as casting a spell from your hand. As such, because a creature would not go back to your hand after casting it (unless something else causes it to) so too would a card cast from exile not return to exile after casting it.
First one,if I got 2 Stromkirk Occultist that does damage a player(same or 2 different one), do I exile the top 2 cards or just one?
Second one,it is devil advocate question.
If I exiled a card from my library that have madness, can I cast it for his madness cost?
I read the mechanics about madness, it said if you discard a madness card from your hand it goes to exile spot and then you cast it for its madness' cost.
But since Stromkirk Occultist allows you to cast card with alternative cost sush as emerge and escalade, does madness triggers in that case?
Ex: I got Stromkirk Occultist damaging a player and exiled Bloodmad Vampire who has a normal cost 3(2/R) and a madness cost of 2 (1/R).
Can cast Bloodmad Vampire for his madness cost since it was not discarded but exiled from my library?
Please open a new thread rather than piggybacking off of another (even for the same card).
In your first scenario, you have two triggers so two cards are exiled.
In your second, Madness only triggers if you discard the card. You can only discard a card from your hand. Being exiled is just part of the Madness trigger. Being exiled in any way does not trigger Madness; being discarded does.
Also, Escalate is not an alternate cost; it is an additional cost.

The same goes for playing lands.
