Okay so this came up today and even a judge could not decipher it for us. If there are tokens on the battlefield and I play Ixidron what happens to teh tokens? Since they are not leaving the battlefield do they get morphed into 2/2s or do they cease to exist? We wet with the latter.
EDIT: Nevermind we all cant RTFC. But to keep this thread to still answer a question, if there is a way to turn tokens face down, what would happen?
Nothing. Ixidron specifically does not interact with Tokens (his ability says "nontoken").
If you find something that does try to turn a token face down, nothing happens. They remain on the battlefield as they are. This may not be right. I think I was thinking of Transform as I can't find anything in the rules that says tokens can't be turned face down.
In any case, this doesn't apply to this scenario anyway.
Tokens can be turned face down. Face down is a status, just like tapped/untapped, flipped/unflipped, etc. A face down token will be a 2/2 with no name, abilities, etc. just as if it were a card face down. It would also have face up characteristics, so if it had morph it could be turned face up.
The cards explicitly says that it affect nontoken creatures and the judge couldn't figure it out? Is it just me or the guy shouldn't be a judge anymore?

The human brain is really good at gathering data quickly... by only gathering some of the actual data, and filling in the blanks. It is entirely reasonable for someone to skim the card text and come away with "all other creatures". Then, the judge would be focused on trying to rule on tokens being turned face-down, which is not something that's actually easy to accomplish and so likely wouldn't be a corner-case the judge has memorized.

Cards do what they say they do. No more. No less.
