Ok, so my friend has started using a new combo and it's a bit confusing to me. Can someone please explain in detail how the interactions between the following cards play out for infinite damage?
You have Disciple of the Vault on the battlefield with Sculpting Steel in the GY. When Sharuum the Hegemon enters the battlefield you choose to return the sculpting steel. When the Sculpting Steel enters you choose for it to enter as a copy of Sharuum. Before any triggers can happen the game sees there are two legendary creatures and one must be put into the GY (either Sharuum or the Sculpting steel copy). Once that happens the game has two triggers occur the Disciple of the Vault because an artifact his the GY and the ETB ability of the copy of Sharuum which can target whatever was just put into the GY. This repeats infinitely.
1. Cast Sculpting Steel.
2. As it enters, it becomes a copy of Sharuum, and you're forced to put one of the two legendary Sharuums into the graveyard as a SBA. Which one you choose doesn't matter.
3. The ETB trigger of the Sculpting Steel Sharuum is put on the stack, targeting whichever of the two (the original Sharuum or the Sculpting Steel) is in the graveyard.
4. At the same time, Disciple triggers. You can order the ETB and Disciple trigger however you please.
5. When the ETB trigger resolves, go to #2
This works because one of the Sharuums dies as a SBA, which happens before the target of the ETB trigger is chosen.
Note that Sculpting Steel can be replaced by Phyrexian Metamorph, and Disciple can be replaced by a number of similar creatures, like Blood Artist. You could also start with Disciple in play, Sharuum in the command zone (assuming EDH) or hand, and Sculpting Steel in the graveyard, getting the second artifact off the original Sharuum's ETB trigger.
I Just wasnt to know if i can put in the stack the etb effect of Sharuum and discard an artefact with for example trading post and After resolve trading post bring to the battlefield the artefact that i previosly i discarted with the trading post and finally if i can do this same process when using open the vaults

The target for Sharuum's trigger is chosen when it is put on the Stack, like with all targeted triggers. This is almost imediately after Sharuum entered the battlefield (right after the next time SBAs have been checked), before any player gets priority to respond. So putting an artifact in the graveyard by any means after the trigger is on the stack is too late.

When Sharuum's enters-the-battlefield ability goes on the stack, you must target an artifact card already in your graveyard at that moment (C.R. 603.2, 603.2d, 601.2c), and you do so before you get priority to activate abilities, including one of Trading Post's abilities (C.R. 116.5, 116.1b). (In effect, you can't target a card you're about to discard with Trading Post's first ability.) In general, this is the case no matter how Sharuum enters the battlefield (whether with Open the Vaults or by any other means).
