I activate ED targetting TKS and then put both abilities on the stack with the Discard ability resolving first and the draw ability resolving after.
After the discard trigger resolves, I activate ED targeting TKS again and then put both abilities on the stack with the discard ability resolving first.
Repeat until I have several draw triggers on the stack. Thus resulting in my opponent drawing X number of cards
You can do this, but TKS does not discard, it exiles the cards.
In actual games it is usually done the other way, you let your opponent draw first and then exile a card, to maximize the cards you see from your opponent.
Your opponent also won't draw x cards in your scenario, he will draw 1 card x times, might be relevant for some cards.
Don't forget you need to pay 3 mana for each activation of ED, so you won't be able to generate an infinite number of draw triggers.
Right. This was never intended to go infinite. It was just a line I've taken to get around Ensnaring bridge before, but someone told me they had spoken with a judge and were told it wasn't possible so I wanted to confirm that it was. Thanks guys.
