Wormfang Manta, Conjurer's Closet.
Am I right in thinking this makes an unlimited turns combo? Manta goes out, manta comes back, I put the first trigger in the bottom so I skip my next turn first, which is presumably a few hundred rounds in the future, and then I get an extra turn, which is right now.
Or does the skip effect hang around and make me skip the next turn I actually take?
Same question would go for Magosi, the Waterveil and two Amulets of Vigor, but that consumes some mana and all my turn's land plays, so it's a little inferior.
It doesn't work.
The net effect of gaining an extra turn and skipping your next turn is nothing regardless of the order of those effects.
This is because while gaining an extra turn inserts a turn into the turn order, skipping a turn does not delete a turn from the turn order. Rather, skipping an event (such as a turn, phase, or step) is a replacement action that replaces the start of the next instance of that event with not starting that event instead.

Also, damn. But then I guess that would have been too easy.
