If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
I have a seperate question about Gonti. If Gonti dies, can you still play the card? since the duration is "as long as the card is exiled" and not "as long as Gonti is in play" there was some confusion in my playgroup.

Yes, you can, for the reason you stated. As long as that duration has not ended (ie, the card is still exiled) it doesn't matter if Gonti is on the Battlefield or not.
611.2a A continuous effect generated by the resolution of a spell or ability lasts as long as stated by the spell or ability creating it (such as “until end of turn”). If no duration is stated, it lasts until the end of the game.
How would Gonti work in commander? He allows you to play the exiled card by letting you spend mana as if it were of any color, but in commander you are unable to create any color of mana that is not in your commanders color identity. Would Gonti allow you to bypass that or would you only be able to play black and colorless cards from your opponents library?
Gonti lets you use any color mana "as though" it were any color. He doesn't actually let you produce mana of a different color. If he is your general, you will probably be producing mana of black and colorless (as you mentioned) and his ability lets you use that mana as though it were any color so you will still be using black mana to cast that Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur. It doesn't actually change the color.
In any case, Commander no longer has the restriction that you can't produce mana outside your Commander's Color Identity anyway. So you can play City of Brass and Mana Confluence in your mono black deck to produce the other 4 colors (in case you get a card with an activated ability that isn't black).

Two things:
1. The rule that stated that if you were ever to add mana of a color outside your commander's color identity then you get colorless mana instead, has been removed. (This happened around when Oath of the Gatewatch was released, presumably to make it so that people couldn't exploit the rule in order to pay C in costs this way.) You can now produce mana in colors outside your commander's color identity, though you still have to abide by the rules for deck construction so this is most likely to come up if you have something that lets you make mana of any color.
2. Even if this rule were still in effect, an effect that lets you spend mana as though it were mana of any type sidesteps it completely. "Spending mana as though it were mana of any type" literally means that you can take any type of mana you want and pay costs with it even if those costs require a different color of mana (since it says "type" and not "color", this means you can also pay for C in costs this way.) So if your lands are only able to produce BBBCC you can still spend that to cast Fusion Elemental if such an effect applies.
Three completely separate questions is enough for one thread. We don't want this to become a repository for every new question about Gonti. If you have another, don't hesitate to create a new thread, it's always preferable.

I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
