Hi. For example, it's my turn and I have a Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and a Kalonian Tusker in play. I activate the -2 of Nissa.. now here are two questions..
1. Can my opponent Lightning bolt Nissa before she could add the +1/+1 counter to the tusker?
2. Or can my opponent bolt the tusker before the +1/+1 counter can be added to it?
Planeswalker abilities use the stack, just as (almost) every other ability. So:
1. He can Lightning Bolt Nissa in response, but that doesn't remove the ability from the stack. So, you still put the counters on your creatures.
2. Yes, he can do this and if you have no other creatures, you may be a little sad.
