First time posting here, so sorry if I overstep any bounds or what not. :x
Still kinda fresh to the finer points of EDH rulings (I was on an MtG break when it came out), for example; does a commander retain it's commander property (and notably, does it still deal "commander damage" or whatever you call it) if it becomes a copy of something?
Such as using Scion of the Ur-Dragon as a commander. You swing, and activate it's ability; does your opponent (assuming unblocked, or trample damage) take ordinary, run of the mill damage, or damage that counts towards the 21 pseudo-poison-counters mechanic?
I could not for the life of me find anything that would clarify this, so some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
