The original posters of these threads had their accounts deleted due to having EU IP addresses and not opting in after notification of the ownership change of the site. Legally speaking, there's nothing that can be done about this; the content is simply gone.
Also, the "Judging at Regular REL" link now just goes to the top WPN page. The document can be found by going to https://wpn.wizards.com/en/resources/rules-documents and searching for Regular, but a direct link would become invalid if/when they update that again. (Although seeing that the last update was in 2017, that doesn't seem to happen very often.)

Why bother with mere rulings when so many answers can be found in the Rules?

Fixed, thank you. I regrouped JAR, MTR and IPG with a single link to the "Rules and documents" page.

I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
Can somebody tell me where I can contact a moderator to have my thread moved to a subforum? Clicked and posted before reading anything and stuck my thread under the Commander EDH threads
I don't think that would be something we'd want, either. While the vast majority of Rulings questions are card-specific (or at least reference cards), we do occasionally have questions that don't. Tournament rules enforcement, generic questions that aren't card specific at all, etc. It would become a "reference a random card just because" thing.
look im an old player from back on revised and ice age and manage. I played in arena fora few years I was really young playing in tournaments and now I really want to get back into playing. I miss it. Any help would be great in stirring me in the right direction. thank you. btw still have most of my cards I had to go to my parents and dig them up but they were there. some alpha, mostly revised through mirage. Hi there, welcome to MTGSalvation! There are a lot of people like you aspiring to start playing Magic again after a long time, and our community is used to help with that. However, this here thread is not the best place to receive such help: the Magic rulings helpdesk thread is specifically meant to discuss meta-issues about the Magic rulings forum, the forum where we answer rules questions. We can't give general help or answer rules questions in this specific thread. I would direct you to instead create a new thread (with the "New Thread" button, which you should be able to find at the top of the page)in the Magic general forum. Thank you!

To prevent further posts that don't belong here and considering it hasn't been used for its intended purpose in a long time, I'm locking this thread for now. Reopening it certainly is a possibility if the need arises, but in the meantime, don't hesitate to send me a private message for any issue regarding the Magic rulings forum.
