Hey all, got few interactions I'd like some clarification for in regards to Collected Company.
I already have an idea on what should happen, so I'd just like someone to confirm it before I make an a$$ of myself.
1) Evolve
If I choose a Renegade Krasis and a Elusive Krasis as targets - what will happen in regards to the evolve trigger?
-Does evolve trigger for both of them?
-Can I then stack the Elusive Krasis' trigger above the Renegade's trigger, thereby placing 2 counters on it in total?
1.2) Assume I target Gyre sage instead of Elusive Krasis.
-Does the Renegade's Krasis evolve even trigger and go on the stack at all? I'm assuming not.
-If true, can I stack the Gyre Sage's evolve trigger above it so that Gyre Sage has enough toughness to evolve the Krasis and gain an extra counter?

1) Yes, that's right. Both Krasis's Evolve abilities trigger when they enter the battlefield, and you choose the order they go to the stack. If you Elusive's ability on the top, it will resolve first so when Renegade's ability resolves Elusive will gain the extra counter.
1.2) Renegade's Evolve ability doesn't trigger, because no creature with power or toughness greater than its own has entered the battlefield. Gyre Sage becoming greater later won't change how it entered the battlefield originally, so the ability won't 'retroactively' trigger after the Sage becomes 2/3.
2) No, Reverent Hunter doesn't enter the battlefield with any counter, because no ability says so. What Reverent Hunter has is a triggered ability, just like Evolve. When Hunter enters, its ability triggers and goes to the stack. It will check your Devotion during resolution, so it will gain three +1/+1 counters when the ability resolves.
3) The Avatar's ability is not a trigger, it is a replacement effect that changes the way Avatar enters the battlefield. It applies at the moment Avatar would enter the battlefield, so at that point the Servant isn't on the battlefield yet and Avatar won't see it. No counter.
Yeah sorry, grammar error on number 2 - Meant to say "gain 3 counters". Fixed.
Wasn't sure on number 3 at all. Was kind of expecting it to work like that, but held out hope anyway.
Would have been a neat interaction otherwise, but I guess you can't win them all.

Can Collected Company target creatures with x in their mana cost (for example Mistcutter Hydra), and do you get to choose what x is or must it be zero, or within the CMC of 3.

Mistcutter has a converted mana cost of 1 because x counts as zero, you can bring it in with company but X will automatically be 0

You can put Mistcutter Hydra into play but X ill be 0 so it will most likely go to the graveyard immediately.

I had a quick question regarding Collected Company's Interaction with grafdigger's cage. When you "look at the top X cards" of your library... are they still considered in your library?
My question essentially is: Does grahfdigger's cage stop a collected company?

Yes, the Cage does stop the creatures from Collected Company from entering the battlefield because they are still in your library. Whenever you are looking at or revealing a set of cards from a particular zone, those cards are still in that zone (at least for the moment), you are just getting more information about them.
I would like to ask collected company and wren's run vanquisher. Would you still pay he additional 3 colorless mana or reveal an elf card when putting it into play with collected company? How about cards with kicker like joraga warcaller? Can you pay the kicker when it is brought into play? Thanks

2) Devotion
If I choose Reverent Hunter and Scaleguard sentinels as targets.
-Does the reverent hunter gain 3 +1 counters?
3) Simultaneous ETB effects
Choosing Avatar of the Resolute and Servant of the Scale as targets.
-Does the Avatar see the counter on the servant, and get a +1 counter?
Well, that's about all i need to know for now.
I appreciate any help you can give.
