I attack with 6 creatures: an unblocked Brago, King Eternal enchanted with Battle Mastery, and 5 other Ally creatures. When Brago deals first strike combat damage to my opponent, if I exile all 5 of my attacking allies, when they return to the battlefield are they still attacking (hopefully with all of their "enters the battlefield" bonuses for regular combat damage)?
Seems like that would be too good to be true... but I wasn't sure.
Thanks in advance
No, they do not enter the battlefield attacking. They are considered new creatures just entering the battlefield, not the same ones you declared as attackers.
400.7. An object that moves from one zone to another becomes a new object with no memory of, or relation to, its previous existence. There are seven exceptions to this rule: (none of them applies for your creatures) 110.1. A permanent is a card or token on the battlefield. A permanent remains on the battlefield indefinitely. A card or token becomes a permanent as it enters the battlefield and it stops being a permanent as it's moved to another zone by an effect or rule.
The creatures you declared as attackers don't exist anymore. They stopped being that permanents when you moved the cards to the Exile zone. Then, when you move them back to the battlefield, those cards become new permanents without any memory or relation from the creatures that were attacking.
Yes, you get their enter-the-battlefield triggers, but they won't be attacking. Only Brago will deal damage in the regular combat damage step.
