So there was another thread about this, but I thought I'd just make a new one instead of piggybacking on that.
Let's say I have a Voice of All on the battlefield. I chose Black as it entered the battlefield. My opponent has an Iona, Shield of Emeria on the battlefield, and he chose white when it entered (I played the Voice before Iona came in). Now let's say I cast something that makes the Voice a Copy of Iona, say Polymorphous Rush.
Will my opponent be unable to cast Black spells for the rest of the turn? My gut says they will, but I'm not sure.
For the time that Voice of All is a copy of Iona, its ability "Your opponent can't cast spells of the chosen color" won't function because no color was chosen for the corresponding linked ability. Even though both Iona and Voice of All have an ability that lets you choose a color, they aren't the same ability, so there won't be a color chosen for the ability copied from Iona even if there was a color chosen for Voice of All.
Quote from Comp. rules »
706.7. If a pair of linked abilities are copied, those abilities will be similarly linked to one another on the object that copied them. One ability refers only to actions that were taken or objects that were affected by the other. They can’t be linked to any other ability, regardless of what other abilities the copy may currently have or may have had in the past. See rule 607, "Linked Abilities."

When in doubt, call a judge.
