Just built it at the time of posting, wanted opinions and any tips/swap outs I should do/look into. This is my first ever MTG deck, as I just was introduced into the game and I wanted to go with a dragon/Hydra theme. (I know not all creatures are dragons/hydras, but I thought they'd be useful)
I'd cut any beater that is just a beater - for example Scion of Ugin.
You should also run a bunch of ramp to get to those fat creatures - maybe 10 or 12 variantions on Rampant Growth
But probably the single best thing you could do is change the general to add blue. Blue scales exceptionally well to a format like EDH, and gives you easy access to draw (amongst other things). With a list like this, and especially when you are new to the format, you will run out of cards and go into "topdecking lands and passing your turn" mode real fast.
While I'd probably go far enough to say that any deck can improve by adding blue in this format, I'd particularly support new players taking advantage of its easy card advantage to keep themselves playing magic long enough to be able to make their own thing when they have a little more experience.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
EDH RRGrenzo plays your deck, GGYeva's mono green control, WW9-tails trys desperately for monowhite not to suck RWBUTymna and Kraum's saboteur tribal, UWG Kestia's Enchantress Aggro, RUB Jeleva casts big dumb spells, RGB Vaevictis' big critters can kill your critters hard
You'll get a better response if you post this in the EDH section.
Secondly, since you're going tribal with a lot of the best cards that are at the top end, I would look into cards that help you ramp into them faster or tribal cards that help protect/search/summon them. There's also a lot of subpar cards that doesn't help with the overall theme.

I was thinking the same thing with Rampant Growth, because with the hydras, they seem to rely on feeding them Mana to really get them kicking. I have Mind Stone and Star Compass. Should I add those in? And I realized that I only put Ugin in because he was a dragon, and I pulled a better dragon that I can replace him with, just gotta dig it out of my binder or box (forgot where I put it lol) Thanks for the input!

So the cards I currently have that help me pull lands/Mana are:
-Star Compass
-New Horizons
-Cultivate
-Peregrination
-Market Festival
-Mind Stone
Which of the above should I add? Or just add all of them?
Mindstone, Cultivate are top ramp. Honestly I'd put in anything 3 CMC or less that adds mana and cut that many fatties.
Edit: If your collection is limited, honestly throw all of that ramp in and cut the most vanilla beaters you've got.
Your still going to have a subpar deck though, and thats not going to lead to a good play experience. I really can't stress enough that GR is not the place for a new player to be. Avoiding topdeck mode is more important than winning and adding blue or black is the easiest way to do that.

Xenagos is an excellent beginner's commander. Very easy to use, devastating potential, and fairly hard to remove.
I almost feel like you should think about whether you want to focus on the Dragon's or the Hydras. Going both seems a bit watered down, although its certainly workable. If you like the Hydras, I can recommend Hardened Scales to get some extra counters for your buck. (If you really wanna go balls out, Doubling Season, but that's the price of a new video game for a reason.
For Dragons, let me introduce you to Atarka, World Render, who doesn't even need to attack herself to be utterly devastating. Her 'upgraded' version Dragonlord Atarka packs a punch too (and gets really funny when you have them together).
Some other Dragons worth looking at
Steel Hellkite and Balefire Dragon. Both of these provide ways to wreck your opponent simply by damaging them. Hellkite you can get on the cheap, but the Balefire Dragon's a bit steeper at $15, but works really well with Xenagos- 12 damage to you and everything you own? Don't mind if I do!
Savage Ventmaw Cannot recommend this enough- just one attack with it and you break even on value.
You're playing two-color battlecruiser here, so you don't really need too fancy a mana base, but I'd find a way to work Rootbound Crag and Cinder Glade in. Both are on the cheaper end price wise, and are pretty efficient. [Temple of the False God[/card] also gets you going (but is totally worthless in the early game, so be careful you're not stuck with just that)
For spells, I recommend against too much single target removal in Commander, and barely any that's damaged based. Much better to destroy creatures outright with a Beast Within or even just Fissure, then try to work up to doing enough damage. Sweepers are a different story. Blasphemous Act can clear the board before you start throwing out your big boys. Earthquake also works great if you go the Dragons route, because it won't hit your best creatures (and even if you go the hydra/dragon route, just keep the X under what would kill your Hydras). A good X-damage spell is Comet Storm, which is way more efficient than Fireball for mass targeting.
I recommend working on the mana base. You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money, but adding more 2 colour lands will help you avoid colour screw and/or allow you to squeeze some utility lands into your build. Here are some recommendations that won't break the bank.

Some Hydra's also to look at
Apocalypse Hydra Just make sure X is more than 5
Genesis Hydra You can go two for one on this.
Hooded Hydra Gets you good value if it dies, and if you need a body early, you can morph it.
Hydra Broodmaster Gets utterly disgusting with enough mana (I see you actually have this one. Good, its disgusting)
Lifeblood Hydra Also gives good value on death
Managorger Hydra Gets bigger and bigger
Oran-Rief Hydra Combos really well with ramp.
For Dragons, let me introduce you to Atarka, World Render, who doesn't even need to attack herself to be utterly devastating. Her 'upgraded' version Dragonlord Atarka packs a punch too (and gets really funny when you have them together).

Savage Ventmaw Cannot recommend this enough- just one attack with it and you break even on value.
Hellkite Charger Wanna attack again? Of course you do!
Ryusei, the Falling Star Punishes your opponent if they're playing a lot of non-fliers
Scourge of Valkas Its Dragon Tempest with wings! (without the haste source). Oh, and the abilities stack for double damage.
Utvara Hellkite Attacking dragons make more dragons! Combos nicely with Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas
Tyrant's Familiar Works well with Xenagos because you should be able to keep him in play.
Of course, those Dragons are cost intensive, so you're gonna need to ramp like a mo-fo. Sakura-Tribe Elder, Wood Elves
, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Skyshroud Claim, Explosive Vegatation, and Nissa's Renewal are all excellent ramp cards. Dorks like Llanowar Elves should work too, while Whisperer of the Wilds is real easy to get that extra mana going. And then I'd look into Zendikar Resurgent. Double the mana, double the fun, and you can draw cards off it. Mana Flare also doubles, but also does so for your opponent and may not be worth the risk. If you don't like having either money or friends Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger not only doubles your mana, but effectively halves your opponent's. Rocks like Gruul Signet, Sol Ring, Mind Stone, and Hedron Archive are pretty effective. If you have some dinero, Gilded Lotus and Thran Dynamo are wonderful. For a cheaper solution, Pyramid of the Pantheon take some work to really get going, but is fantastic once online. A new card called Dowsing Dagger could also work, since you can just fly right on over those Plants it makes. One hit's all you need to get yourself a Lost Vale
You're playing two-color battlecruiser here, so you don't really need too fancy a mana base, but I'd find a way to work Rootbound Crag and Cinder Glade in. Colour Fixers:
- Temple Of Abandon
- Kareplusan Forest
- Rootbound Crag
- Mossfire Valley
- Cinder Glade
- Ash Barrens
