Funny, I had to double check the date of this post to make sure it wasn't from a decade ago
At the time, Visara was my favourite. These days Silvos, Rogue Elemental is the one I would most like to see reprinted, with the same art in the new card frame.
I can't decide between Rorix, or Silvos, I agree with Lorelorn that Rorix is a little boring, but flying + haste isn't anything to sneeze at in a decent red deck, especially when compared to the the rest of the pit fighters. And then you got Silvos. When he was printed it just made me feel good that green finally got a decent creature, it seems green has been getting the crap end of the stick since the early days of magic, now if only he had hex proof. Oh yeah, I don't like Visara because I have an unhealthy attachment to Avatar of Woe.
1. Silvos - Played a ton of limited back then and for some reason I seemed to get this guy a lot...which means he won me a ton of games.
2. Rorix - The one that I actually played in constructed, was amazing for the cmc at that time.
3. Arcanis
4. Jareth
5. Visara - At the bottom because I lost so many freaking draft/sealed matches to her. One of the dumbest "easy button" bombs ever in draft.
I like visara the most flavorwise. 2nd is arcanis just because T: a. call myself is pretty sweet. 3rd is silvos just because although it could honestly be jareth, don't really care. Rorix I just find to be very boring in terms of what he does. All are good with devotion at least though.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
What's interesting here is their Legend status is their only drawback. Creatures just didn't used to look like this. I think this was the time when I noticed that WotC had decided to starting pushing creatures over spells.

1. Rorix. He wins games out of nowhere and fits perfectly at the top of most of my mono-red decks' curves.
2. Silvos. He's big and hard to kill. Harder to kill now, more-so than back then now that anti-regeneration removal is less common.
3. Arcanis isn't too good for attacking, but the card draw is awesome. I used to use him with Puppeteer in a wizard deck to draw 6 or more cards each turn. It was pretty crushing if you could pull it off. Only thing I don't like about him is that he draws a lot of fire, so you either have to save up some counterspells to protect him or wait until you have 10 mana so you can bounce him if your opponents try to kill him.
4. Jareth. I was never all that impressed with him. I always wished he was a 7/4 instead of a 4/7. The high toughness seems redundant with the protection ability.
5. Visara. As others have said, Avatar or Woe was already around. Also, since she has both a tap ability and high power, you feel conflicted as to whether you want to attack or kill stuff. It can even turn into a sort of "New player trap". I've seen less experienced players lose games because they decided to kill stuff when attacking for 5 in the air (or 6 with fear if using Avatar) would have been lethal. I still like her for the artwork, though. I think she's pretty.

Arcanis the Omnipotent
Jareth, Leonine Titan
Rorix Bladewing
Silvos, Rogue Elemental
Visara the Dreadful
I'd probably go:
1. Arcanis
2. Visara
3. Jareth
4. Silvos
5. Rorix
All of them are pretty awesome, although Rorix seems a little vanilla compared to the rest.
1.) Visara
2.) Arcanis
3.) Silvos
4.) Rorix
5.) Jareth

Just looking at them, I would say Arcanis and Jareth are my favorites, especially in EDH.
Arcanis - Tap and draw 3? Seriously?
Jareth - Swing, pay W, protection from your deck. Lolwut.
