I'd say C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!, but actually, Courser of Kruphix. I even remember thinking "This is a 2/4 for 3 mana with a decent ability. Developers take note of what you can do in green."

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

I'm going with Xenagos, God of Revels, just for the potential with anything with trample. Say, Vulpine Goliath? Which, come to think of it, curves well with Xenagos. And really, that's just for beginners. The real fun is that your ball lightnings no longer die to first strike.

Definitely Kiora. In limited, I'd have a tough time choosing between Kiora, Xenagos and even Phenax, but Kiora is heads and shoulders above the rest for constructed.

Since the temples are the only lands, they are by default the best and the worst.
Will take a little break before Journey

Banishing Light. This is a perfect Magic card. Strong but not broken, has a strong impact but never feels unfair, and is a great example of white removal. I expect it to be reprinted in many sets and it will always be welcomed.
Honourable mention: Nyx-Fleece Ram. A pair of those won the last Pro Tour by swinging for 5 each. But also, it is very at doing what it is suppose to do (buying you time against aggro decks.)

Howling Mine has typically been a competitive card in Standard environments and this is Mine with Flash in a color you would already be running if you were playing a Mine deck. Plus, Nekusar Commander decks love it.
On phasing:
Nuff said.
Honourable mention: A distant Unravel the Æther. It is a decent sideboard card that deals with a lot of big threats in Standard and Limited.
Multicolored cards next.
Kiora, the Crashing Wave gets my vote.

(Obviously in other formats, you have better choices, but in Standard, it's best at what it does.)

Honourable mention: Hmmm... Astral Cornucopia, I guess... Because it can give a lot of mana... when you already have a lot...

Honourable mention: Hypnotic Siren. It is played in monoblue devotion, but I honestly can't see which other deck would want it.
