Really, really tough, given the number of awesome cards and people's individual play and deck building styles.
My vote is for Edric. Built properly, Edric turns otherwise cheap, crap creatures into gold. If you set up your defenses/diplomacy right, you can also watch an entire table of opponents fight like dogs for the card draw scraps that Edric leaves lying around. The best Edric decks I've seen take ruthless advantage of green and blues synergistic qualities, such as recurrsion and extra turns, etc.
Finally, there was a bit of commander to legacy cross pollination going on over Edric. This seems to have fizzled, but was noteworthy in my opinion.
Really tough decision. I love Riku and would say it's one of the best for EDH, but I have to agree with the above. Edric is great in EDH and is the one with the most potential in other formats which ought to be noted.

Even though it can only be used in commander, my votes for the tower. That thing was better than anyone speculating on the precons expected, land-wise. My impression was that everyone was waiting for a wedge shard-land, and instead they produced something with much better applicability and versatility.
Homeward path is great too, but even though it can be used outside of commander, its only realistic use is protecting voltron generals like skullbriar and ruhan from getting stolen by your opponents in edh.

My vote is for wurmcoil engine. It's got broad applicability, fits in a variety of formats and archetypes, is resiliant, colorless, great art (IMHO), 6CMC for 6/6 p/t, and every card ever printed with deathtouch and lifelink has been immediately incorporated into successful decks (vampire nighthawk-vamps, basilisk collar-naya, vault of the archangel-B/W tokens). This is a great commander card as well.

Homeward Path does nothing. It's too conditional to be effective, I won't use it to replace jut one Tectonic Edge on other formats as well......
